Fenton Street Gin produce a gin not directed by science but by the subjectivity of sommeliers, botanists and Chefs.
The Pioneer Gin reflects women and men who came to New Zealand, broke in the land and settled in what was a harsh, challenging environment. Kawakawa, bush honey, Horopito, smoked Manuka and Tarata capture the flavours of that time. Manuka symbolises burning of bush and the 46% ABV, the toughness of those pioneers. At its base are Oak & Tannins from red wine barrels giving it a ‘vintage’ that makes this gin unique.       Â
